Order and Delivery
When you have made your order you will receive a confirmation by e-mail.
As I make the jewellery by hand upon order, there can sometimes be up to a week of production time and the delivery time therefore vary from item to item. I will contact you with specifics on expected time of delivery after purchase. If you need the jewellery for a specific day, please let me know in the comment at check-out and I'll do my best to make that happen.
Delivery in Denmark takes about 2 - 5 days and abroad 5 - 10 days for international orders.
If you order items that varies in delivery times, you can expect them to be delivered together and be delivered within the time period of the item with the longest delivery time.
All prices are in Danish Crowns (DKK) and are inclusive 25 % VAT.
Payment can be done online by use of Visa, Dankort, Mastercard, Maestro, American Express or through Paypal. Your payment information is transmitted encrypted between the costumer and Michala Eken.
Payment via PayPal: If you often shop at online stores that use PayPal, you might want to consider creating an account. When you have created a PayPal-account you just need to log on your account to make the payment and does not need to write your credit card information every time.

Michala Eken offer 14 days of full return on any standard jewellery. Bespoke or custom made jewellery (like wedding bands or engagement rings made upon request) can not be returned.
The return policy is according to the Danish Consumer Agreement Act § 17.
The returned product must be in the same condition as you received it. If the product is damaged or used the product cannot be refunded.
If you wish to return your purchase please send an e-mail to email@example.com named "Return" and include your name, contact information and, if possible, provide a tracking number.

Upon return the customer is responsible for the delivery cost.
It is suggested that you send the items as a package and that you get a receipt and a package ID for the return from the delivery service, as it makes it easier to follow the return shipment if needed.
When the returned product is received, Michala Eken will make a refund of eligible returns. If you paid by invoice, Michala Eken will need your bank information to transfer the money back to. The easiest way is to include this in the e-mail you send upon a return.
If a returned item is shipped international, please clearly mark the package 'RETURNED GOODS', to avoid any customs charges. Michala Eken is not responsible for any return customs charges made. Any charges incurred are the responsibility of the customer.
Want to switch to another product or another size of the same product?
Send an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org named "Exchange" and provide your customer information, that you will send back the product and the product and size you wish to receive in exchange.
We always pack everything carefully, thereby minimising possible damage.
If the product is lost or you, upon receiving, notice that the item has been damaged during transport, you should immediately report this to Michala Eken. Should the package or the contents be damaged upon arrival please report it to us and to the shipping company immediately, or no later than two days after receiving it. Then return the merchandise to us. Michala Eken is not responsible for merchandise that is damaged during transportation.
For packages that are not cashed at your post office within 14 days, Michala Eken reserves the right to charge you a handling fee to cover return shipping and freight companies administrative costs.
According to the Danish law you have a 24 month warranty on all purchased products.
Be aware that normal wear and tear as well as a lack of maintenance is not covered by the warranty. If you discover a defect in a purchased item, you must as soon as possible and within a reasonable time, contact Michala Eken and explain the default or defect. Michala Eken will then deal with your complaint. If the item is defect, Michala Eken will seek to remedy this by repair or alternatively make a replacement.
Reservations and disclaims
Michala Eken takes reservations for tax changes, price and writing errors, technical errors, sold-out products or force majeure, including delays in deliveries by sub-contractors.
Michala Eken will only store information that directly relates to your purchase, and only Michala Eken will have access to them. Michala Eken understands and respects the importance of privacy online and will not expose information on customers/users to third parties, unless it is necessary to implement a transaction. Michala Eken will not sell your name, address, email address, credit card or personal data to any third parties without your prior permission.
Any dispute between Michala Eken and the customer is subject to Danish law.
